as a part of our program, we took a two-day mini trip into the champagne region of france. i was really excited for this excursion since we would get the chance to see the beautiful french countryside. the train we took to reims was a TGV, which is one of those super fast trains that was mentioned in my french class last year. it’s always cool when you get to experience the things you learn about. upon arrival we first visited an adorable art nouveau style house where we tasted some demoiselle champagne.
