for our first weekend we were free to travel or explore paris. since we had only just arrived and had a long list of places to see, a group of us decided to stay in the city and travel up to montmartre to visit sacré coeur. the cathedral was beautiful. the streets leading up to it- not so much. it felt as if i had been transported from paris to some sketchy new york borough. however, the view was quite amazing…
