i love sandwiches. i could eat one (or two) everyday and be happy. but since i have all these wonderful food options within my reach, i'd be foolish not to take advantage of them and try something new. so recently i went to both an indian and japanese restaurant- neither of which i have even frequented at home. indian food has always scared me off since i'm not so into the whole mouth-on-fire kind of deal or the unusually complex flavors. and while i've tried sushi before, i've never really had one i liked enough to eat more than a couple pieces. but now i have seen the light! thanks to my friends who are more familiar with these cuisines, i have found that there is more to japanese food than sushi and that naan is even better when accompanied by mint yogurt sauce.
