champagne: part 5

the next morning we took this awesome bus (it had a rounded couch seat in the back- so cool) to tour the area and see the vineyards. it was so cold, but this didn’t take away from the beauty of the patch-worked rolling hills. we did a walking tour of this cute village where i think dom perrignon is buried or lived or worked or something. my numb toes were a little distracting. but afterwards we got to taste some more champagne. the two we tried were good, but i think i liked the one we had at pommery the best. to be honest, i’m not the biggest fan of champagne and it’s hard to remember the subtle differences when you don't taste them back-to-back.
