champagne: part 6


before catching the train back to paris (i love the concept of having to catch the train back to paris. because, you know, we live there), we ate lunch at an italian cafĂ© and i had a margherita pizza. this was okay. the mozzarella tasted like it was trying to be some other type of cheese- french almost. i have yet to like any of the pizza i’ve tried in france and i am beginning to think it’s proximity to italy may not have the effect on their italian cuisine like i was hoping. 

that pesto olive oil drizzle was a nice touch though...
  
i also picked up a bag of these for the train ride...they didn't make it to the train.

dark chocolate > milk chocolate

do they come in these pretty colors at home too?

and so concludes my champagne excursion. more paris posts on the way!
